A bit of age and hints of light oak. Like Ch. Breze. Very nice. High minus acid. Well integrated and slightly savory. Slight honey (botrytis?).

Green and yellow apple. High plus acid. Dry (brut nature). Crisp and fresh. Moderate autolysis. A bit dilute and short.

Light dried peach and wax, savory milky wood. Peach in amber. Beautiful and lithe. Fresh mushroom. White truffle. Elevated acid. Medium body. Lighter Coche-like style. Dried tangerine embedded in clotted cream.
Like Coche seen through a translucent peach. Less precise flavors. Brighter reduction. White truffle. Super integrated and no oxidation.

Out of the bottle - sweet dried berry tamari. Mid-inflection and delicious and ripe but still reticent. Though the aromatics arent complex, the body, ripeness, and overall sweetness are more intense than Musar’s of this age usually are just out of the bottle. Consistent with my “Bold” classification of this.
Gave it a vigorous decant - let’s see if it comes out of its shell or if it’s in that post-primary-pre-tertiary phase (where ‘99 seemed to be a couple years ago).
At dinner:
Liquorice (intense salty liquorice) and dried roses. Intense black currant. Slightly tertiary. Bold and wonderful. Distracting.

Deep ruby with some garnet at the rim. Beautiful ripe nose with deep blackberry and well integrated cinnamon. Dry, medium plus body. Slightly elevated alcohol, elevated acid, medium tannins. Beautiful fruit and leaves on the finish. The fruit has a slight under and overripe character.

Dilly! Medium body, dried cherry, dried orange. Elevated acid. Soft melted tannins - still a bit drying. Slight Brett. Very nice.

Green wet cardboard / TCA. Bretty and weedy. Some dried berry. Still has impressions of fruit but it's faded and quite corked.
