White - Sparkling
N.V. Medivol Cremant de Limoux Brut
86 points
Semi-sweet and rather harsh. I've had much better cremant de limoux than this.
White
2019 Domaine des Cognettes Muscadet Selection des Cognettes
89 points
Consistent with muscadet. Nice food wine, not particularly interesting beyond that.
White
2015 Maison Leroy Bourgogne Blanc
90 points
Lightly, lively, nice finesse, slight matchstick. This is very elegant and a bit understated.
White
2015 Domaine du Pégau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Cuvée Réservée
BTOCK's bottle and same note as ROCKNROLLER. Quite frankly, I didn't get this wine. I love Pegau CDP, this wine seemed dank like a dungeon. We had a lively discussion about whether it was corked. The concensus was that it was not corked, but I got this wet dog smell out of it all night. Some waxy fruit, petrol and an oily finish.

Red
2007 Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Cailles
93 points
Red-fruited, delightfully gravelly, crunchy cherry, red berries and earth on a lightweight frame.
Red
2008 Bouchard Père et Fils Beaune 1er Cru Grèves Vigne de L'Enfant Jesus
92 points
Lots of red fruit, strawberry and raspberry. A touch of smoke, some floral elements and good acidity.

2001 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape
94 points
Yet another great example of this wine. Olive tapenade, tar, graphy, smoky meats and red fruit. This is a great old school CDP.
Red
2001 Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée de mon Aïeul
91 points
I see that I loved this wine a year ago. Tonight it was less exciting. Chocolate, deep red fruit and very powerful. I wouldn't have guess this as 2001 but it makes sense that its a Mon Aieul.
Red
2000 Château Rauzan-Ségla
95 points
Only slow-o'd a couple hours. I was curious if this wine would compare to some older Rauzan Segla's that I've had. This was just as good. Textbook old school well-aged Bordeaux. Awesome. My and group WOTN.
Red
2009 Bodega Catena Zapata Nicolás Catena Zapata
90 points
Decanted one hour. After a 2000 Rauzan Segla this seemed quite simply. Lots of fruit here, a touch of vanilla. Pleasant enough, soft and smooth.

Red - Fortified
2013 Pedroncelli Vintage Port Four Grapes
So they're grandfathered in to use the word port? Maybe that got this wine off to a bad start with me, but I found it goopy, sweet and alcoholic.
