The bouquet hardly shows anything. On the palate ripe yellow fruits, a touch of sweetness and ok acidity. The bitterness is a bit drying in the finish.

Some white fruits in the bouquet. On the palate a bit sparkling in the start, white fruits, apple, some bitterness. Ok acidity but quite basic.

Three months of oak. 50/50 American and French. So there is a touch of vanilla. For the rest very ripe red berry fruits, mainly raspberries, a lot of sweetness and also ok acidity. Modern made and juicy wine.

Tasted again and some additional notes: This time I wrote down dark and red cherries, a lot of sweetness and full bodied, but lacks refinement. Same score.

Creamy and round all over. Ripe mainly red fruits. I did not write more notes because the wine offers exactly what you expect of a Valpolicella. Ok and correct wine, but no real complexity.

A textbook Priorat, full bodied, a lot of sweet herb and spices, good acidity and round tannin. Already a pleasure and around 2018+ definitely still nice. 89+ for now.

A nice white Port wine with pleasant sweetness and fresh acidity and also the impressions of a fino cherry. I am not an expert on wines like this, but this is a pleasant an clean wine. My score fwiw 87.

Nutty flavors, currants, good red fruits, ok sweetness. A correct and pleasant tawny.

A typical new world Chardonnay with a lot of ripe yellow tropical fruits, full bodied and a lot of sweetness, pleasant oak and ok acidity.

Not so many notes. New world style Chardonnay with ripe yellow tropical fruits, good oak and a good balance between acidity and sweetness, but for me personally an uninteresting qpr.

Ripe yellow tropical fruits, good oak, tasty and good bitterness in the finish. A well composed new world style Chardonnay, but overall not that interesting. For a price of around $40 not a good qpr.

In the bouquet some smoke and spiciness beside the rip red forest fruits. On the palate the same. Everything is soft. New world Pinot Noir and the touch of minerals makes it just above average.

Best wine I tasted of Baron de Ley in this tasting. The wine is harmonious and correct in all ways. Beautiful dose of oak, good fruits, a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness and round tannin with still a firm bite. Still quite youthful, but ok for drinking now and around 2017 this might even be a little better.

Beautiful bouquet with ripe dark forest fruits. On the palate also ok, but the wine lacks some depth. Pleasant and easy drinking Port wine.

Just a few notes, but this wine is what you can expect from Taylor's; a beautifully round and harmonious Port wine with sweet dark forest fruits, pleasant acidity and round tannin. Is nice now and at least until 2020.
