Zesty and fresh, minerally and energetic, ripe but fresh orchard fruit, well-judged oak, good resonance and length. Light and elegant for a Napa Valley Chardonnay.

A blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Franc, from high altitude vineyards in Uco Valley. Full-bodied, flavoursome, bottle age has settled it down a bit, the oak and the tannins are nicely integrated by now, but it feels a bit monolithic. Satisfying but not very interesting.
