Great nose that suggests some Cab Franc in the mix. Nose is herbal, forest-y, piney, dusty, yet with a wonderful caramelized red and dark berry/cherry candied syrup and slight baking spice element. On the palate there is an earthy layer and more black berry notes. Balanced in the mouth with tannin and richness. Finishes okay. Pretty surprisingly high QPR found for $9.99. An every day drinker with all the goods.
