Recently had an Arleys leap that was disgustingly afflicted as well. However, that never blew off.

What is the deal with this sulfur or mercaptan phenomenon?

4/15/14, 11:45 AM - Thanks for the recommendation on the Wine Berserkers thread! The science is beyond me, but I will say that there is a distinctive Cameron funk that does tend to blow off, but has been in every bottle of their pinot that I've had. I love their wines, so the wait doesn't bother me.
