12/6/22, 12:19 PM - Just as a FYI - I have experienced quite a bit of bottle variations on the 12's - even bottles from the same case
10/10/22, 7:29 AM - My first association tasting this wine was actually "This tastes like the Wine-version of Swedish Glögg". Sweet on the palate (a touch of yellow raisnins, christmas spice). Not my cup of tea in a wine though..
12/14/20, 5:35 AM - Hi Dave This was my first (and only) bottle of the -00 vintage so I can't really provide much insight apart from all Krug bottles I've had so far have required some air to open up - usually peaking 1-2 hours after opening. My -00 wasn't really "citrusy" in a tight "young wine" way but rather muted.. then again, I've heard that -00 is a atypical vintage.
9/24/19, 10:55 PM - Only way to add my subjective score to the board and I'd rather make a note that I drank the wine without making tasting notes than just leaving a blank post. YMMV - Carry on!
9/28/17, 9:40 PM - HiI've kept the 6 bottles i bought in my controlled wine cabinet since delivery and this was by far the weakest one. I am leaning towards bottle variation but I would not hold on any bottles for much longer.
7/9/16, 7:35 AM - Thanks for pitching in, I should have checked the deg-date on the cork but forgot. I still have the bottle but that has no markings unfortunately.Considering whether to try another within a year or just forget them all until 2020+
7/9/16, 11:06 PM - Thanks for the tip. Going by the lot-code it's a -15 degorgement, just as you suspected and I guess they need a lot more time!
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
