Aromas of mesquite and dark berries. Concentrated flavors of blackberries, blueberries, and elderberries. Smooth, well integrated tannins and acidity, and a lengthy finish.
Update: I agree with the others who have said it's better on day 2. If opening a bottle now, try a glass on day 1, but save most of it for later!

7/19/11, 7:39 PM - With your comments on the Fuentes Priorat I think I'll decant the sucker through the venturi. It's a little rough on the pop and pour.
I liked your idea about getting the old cindies back online with TH. How about you ask Kmurph for their edressessess?
    Oh yea this is castello

I am not sue why everyone giving it high score !! May be I just have a bad bottle. It is very tight in the opening with not much of nose ( at least to my nose!!). Not as balanced as I expected with peppery end and overwhelming anount of tannin. Perhaps it is too young. I will wait for at least a year before opening another one.

6/17/11, 11:24 PM - I drank mine right out of the wine cooler so it was coool. Very nice balance to me but I am influenced by the fancy bottle and the wonderful Friday night. I don't see age helping it much and I wish I had another bottle. I got a deal for about 30 bucks but would pay 45ish in a pinch. Pop another one and let me know.

Not worth drinking

7/2/10, 1:41 AM - If it's not worth drinking, it's about 69 points. Dump it down the drain.

Nose was full of dark fruit as soon as I popped the cork. Decanted for an hour and it getting better. This wine was elegant, smooth, could not have been any better. I was very impressed and sorry that I did not buy a full case.

6/23/10, 1:31 AM - Why not give it 98 points if it was that good? 25 dollars and couldn't be any better! Just sayin
