Nose suggests an interesting quaff, as the scents I get are vanilla and oleander. But the wine is appreciably past it's prime and the initial tart fruit quickly dissipates leaving some flint and graphite and a cedar bark finish.

Full bodied fruit forward Cali Cab. On the nose you get a wonderful scent of earth, cassis berry, cinnamon and strawberry perfume. Nicely softened tannins provide wonderful mouth feel and the palate is enthralled with dark chocolate, licorice, butterscotch and a black cherry finish. A great cab from a small vineyard just north of St Helena, but a bomb of a wine.
