Needs air, decant first and afterward, very good

Very nice cherry nose, lots of fruit on the palate, soft but dry finish. Tasty

Big and ripe, blackberry and blueberry, finish is medium-long and a bit dry on the palate. Too bad Derek is no long longer involved with this winery as he will be missed

Give this a good long decant, and then it's excellent

This was a very tasty cab, especially after giving it some air. Wish I had bought a case

It's too bad Leroy is no longer making wine, this is excellent

Drinking strong right now, lots of black fruit

I think this is reaching it's peak right about now, it's tasting more like a Cab-Merlot blend vs. a straight up Cab Franc. Has some chocolate notes with a long, pleasing finish with black cherry notes and mild tannins. If you have some, pop it open now

Decant for a bit and goes great with tacos. Not as deep as the 2013 Reserve, but shows in the true Tempranillo style. Also, a very floral nose

If you have some of this and haven't tried it in a while, it's really worth checking out now. Lots of big, ripe fruits and a pleasing, mild tannic finish

I decided to save a bottle and it's been almost 5 years since I've tasted this wine, but it has changed quite considerably. The color has gone from almost clear to golden. Taste has a a bit more mouthfeel, almost syrupy, yet the taste remains citrus dominant and the wine maintains a balanced flavor.

It is definitely worth checking out for anyone who still has a bottle of this laying around

Drinking beautifully right now, should last a few more years in the cellar

Still drinking strong, better on day two if you can discipline yourself...

Agree with Tosti-Lane, it's losing it's fruit and has gotten past it's prime. The first night the cork crumbled and the wine had an off-taste. Put it into the fridge with a vacu-vin and it was better the next day. I would definitely drink now if I had it and decant for a while before drinking

Picked this up this from the winery in 2012 and at the time it seemed young and had quite a bit of acidity, so decided to save it for later. Fast forward to 2019 and it has developed deep fruit and structure and was quite enjoyable with tannins well integrated and a smooth, yet prominent finish
Red
I've always maintained the WWC wines have held up well over time and this one is no exception. This is definitely worth checking out now, but I think it will easily last at least another two years in the bottle.

Day 1, agree with prusakolep's review on reduced fruit and tannins

Day two, much better, rounds out some more

This wine is developing well, but it's hard to keep from drinking it now. Hopefully can keep my remaining bottles for later as I think it will get that much better. I'm thinking at least 2 or 3 years time frame before it starts to peak

This is drinking amazing. Still full of fruit and fresh tannin. Deep and rich, plums and black cherries dominate. Finish is easy and full of dark fruit and mild tannin

Nose was full of over-ripe cherries and raisins, and maybe a little bit of tobacco

Earthy notes on both the nose and taste overpower the otherwise cherry, smoky and leathery components that would otherwise make this a very well balanced wine. Keeping half the bottle for overnight to see if that helps smooth it out.

A little too much acid now, but with present tannins and structure, should age and become more chocolately and full bodied in about 4 years time.

A little oak sweetness on both the nose and palate that smacks of a cheaper wine (aka Columbia Crest). Would have expected better, especially from a producer of this caliper. Will set the bottle aside overnight to see if things integrate a little better
