Beautiful Rioja. Nice acidity and good finish. A very pleasant bottle with cheese and charcuterie. This is drinking well now and probably is in the window of opportunity. It didn't seem to have enough to last more than a few more years in the cellar

This wine definitely aged well. I opened a bottle in 2009 and was not overly impressed. It has developed a more rounded and integrated taste. Nice fruit and oak, but like others, it takes a while to develope so decant. The finish and tannins are well balanced. Overall a great QPR

Like others, I was slightly concerned with the look of the cork and the initial pour. I decanter about 30 mins and the wine really settled. You got the acidic qualities of the Sangiovese with the soft finish of Merlot. Nice QPR and a good drinker.
