Bought on a lark. Garnet colored with medium legs. There is light sediment in the bottle.Bouquet of mushroom and petrol. It tastes like black currant (cassis) and red currant. The wine is juicy and finishes long. The wine has low acidity and tanins well integrated. Would definetely purchase again.

Has improved from last one drank, nearly year ago. Is at its peak. The pencil shavings are now well intergrated with the fruit -black berries- giving a full to medium body easy to approach -in the best sense of the term- wine with a long aftertaste. Wonderful dark color and bouquet. Improves over a couple of hours.

wonderful bouquet on opening, hints of vanilla. Surprisingly fresh and fruity cherry and black berry upfront. Colour still vibrant. Over time developed hints of cocoa and Ethiopian Yirgcheffe coffee. Tannins well intergrated leading to a long smooth finish. All round a delightful surprise for a 20 year old pinot from california. This wine still has life in it and probably can go another 5 years.

This wine was a fruit bomb with perfectly integrated tannins and balanced alcohol. Color still vibrant with only hints of an orange tint .Hints of raisin on the bouquet with chocolate and cinnamon on taste. Ethereal! This was my last bottle but I wish I had more there was still life in this wine.
