We decanted this for two hours before hand, we threw it back in the refrigerator as to not serve it too hot (in Texas this is a real concern). Served at around 68 degrees. The wine was very smooth and had a strong taste of bitter bakers chocolate, a little bit of smoke and oak. It was missing any real fruit though. I tried hard to look for the fruit because I loved the same wine from a couple of vintages ago. There was some faint hint of dark fruit, but not enough to love this wine.

Upon first opening we did not detect much fruit, but upon drinking the second day we noticed a well balanced amount of fruit. Definitely needs time to breath probably over an hour to see results.
