- Ruby color with slow forming legs. It's somewhat balanced with a medium body. Leathery texture with a short finish - Popped and let sit in cellar for an hour or so. Nose: Dark, prominent cinnamon with faint oak and if u look even harder, a bit of cherry
Palette: a good sense of tannins, with the smoothness that dissipates rather quickly. Dark cherry with some wood in the end.
Drank a glass the next day and the wine seems to have gotten flabby. Recommend drinking the entire bottle in one sitting.

Quite a bit fruit forward. With that limitation, it's wonderfully complex. The little nuances of the different fruit are from suppressed. I wouldn't call it textured, but definitely a sense of dimensionally. The earthiness and tobacco the winemaker talks about did not really come out on the palate. A decent effort, but I yearned for a little more entanglement of the almost not there oakiness/warmth.
