Brickish. Aromas of fig, toast, tar, and graphite. Medium body. Tastes of black cherry. Not quite balanced. It tastes a bit over-oaked to me. Reasonably good - Medium plus finish. Low acidity. Rounded tannins. One can feel every bit of the 14.5 abv. I'd say drink now. I don't think it will improve from here.

The cork nearly failed, however, the wine is clean. Translucent thin bright ruby color with about 1cm watery rim where there's a bit of garnet. aroma of cherry pit, red currant, graphite and red cherry.
light body, tart cherry palate, medium plus acidity, angular medium tannins. Medium finish. I am shortening my drinking window to 2027.

The cork is almost saturated. Broke in half as I opened the bottle. Garnet. Watery rim. Black cherry, smoke. Sour, bright almost ccandied cherry palate. High acidity, mild / rounded tannins, medium plus finish. Still a lot of fruit. Better than anticipated because the last couple bottled were corked.

Gorgeous, fruity nose of peaches, pears, and red apples. Medium acid. The finish was only medium, which holds the wine back in my estimation. Great for the price. I'm glad I have more coming.

Brick / Brown color. Nose is of intense anise. There is graphite and a hint of petroleum. Flavors of cooked cherries, licorice. The tannins are gripping but softened. The finish is medium plus. There is significant sediment in this 375 ML. The fruitiness is muted. It feels like it's past it's prime drinking window. I would back the window up. Consume now in the 350 ML format.

I am surprised by the fruitiness and the tannins that remained. I expected this wine to be over the hill. I think it is in its last throws, but it is drinking nicely still. The finish is a bit short.
