Tasting Notes for Pointerman1967

Wine is on a downhill slide at this time. Fortunately this was my last bottle. If you still have this in your cellar drink it now and finish it in one night. By the end of the evening the wine had no flavor at all.

Really good Pinot. Had a touch of spice to it and a little less fruity than many Pinots. Enjoyed after meal with no food.

Reasonably tasty wine for the price. Fruit forward. Not much after that. Doesn't seem like it will get much better with age.

Great out of the bottle even without decanting. Only drank one glass and can't wait to taste it tonight as I imagine it will be even better than last night. Great nose. Tons of flavor.

Only trouble was figuring out how to open the bottle up. The glass cork had me stumped. Needed to peel the foil back further than my foil cutter normally removes.

Opened second bottle on 5/11/13 - enjoyed with tri tip. Wine was excellent and did not disappoint. Tannins are very well integrated at this point and wine is ready to drink now. Another year and it should still be very nice.

This is the fourth bottle I have drank of this wine and it continues to surprise me each time. It is a bit boring right out of the wine fridge, but after sitting for a half hour or so and getting up to room temp the flavors really open up. Becomes less fruity and gains depth. A very nice wine.

I was a little disappointed in this wine. After reading the reviews I expected something very nice. Had the nose of paint thinner. Nothing in the way of lingering tastes. Would not buy again.

Lots of flavor for a rose. Not too sweet.

Fruit forward. Drank while camping and it was a bit too cold to enjoy properly. Second tasting revealed lingering smoke which was delicious, but might have been from the campfire the night before.
