Needed a few minutes after opening (moved too fast and had the first taste too soon, within first 5 minutes). Decent initial nose, albeit a bit stark at such an early point, later nose much smoother. Nice flavor, but not a rich or really full taste. Overall a good, not great wine.

Worried it might be past, but the wine cabinet seems to have done it's job. The nose was nice, if a bit tanniny at the end, but still a nice berry scent. Lots of sediment in the bottle, but very full bodied and smooth, a pleasant drinking wine.

Didn't expect much given its age and comments thus far, but pleasantly surprised at its smooth and subtle flavor. Not an overpowering nose or wine, went very well with te casual outside gathering.
