I was surprised to see the comments on the harsh tannis from the other tasters. I tried a bottle this past weekend and thought the tannins were very soft...nice black fruit upfront soft on the backend. Worked extremely well paired with the Moussaka we had for dinner. I did decant for 1 hour.

This was a huge wine. I decanted for 1 1/2 hours and at first taste, very acidic. It did soften slightly over the meal. Has a beautiful ink color and typica merlot aroma, lot of fruit with a touch ov Tar and tobacco. worked very well with a grilled steak but very overwhelming alone.
