2006 Poderi Aldo Conterno Barolo Colonnello Nebbiolo
Barolo Tasting (Milwaukee): Violet, lavender, rose. Pretty consistent style. Thick palate and tight. Acid not obvious. A modern style as compared to Bruno Giacosa, they allow fruits to hang longer allowing for darker fruits and uses rotary fermentation together with french oak.
