Depth of flavor and luxurious mouthfeel are still there, but many of the layered flavor nuances have faded. Very enjoyable but its' time has come.

Drank our last bottle tonight and this lovely wine has run its' course. Well structured but the fruit was muted and the finish a bit thin.

Fruit (berries) are noticeable early but give way quickly to tartness. Finish is abrupt. This is a good wine that is a bit past it's peak.

Have been tracking this thru our cellar and it's past it's peak at this point. Structure still excellent but the fruit is a bit flat and the finish has shortened.

Starting to fade a bit with less distinct peaks of flavor. Still very good, but not going to last much longer.

Floral notes early, roundness throughout, light caramel on the finish. This is a great viognier!

More structured than standard rose' while clearly showing the Pinot base. Very good but requires rethinking the food pairing.

Interesting wine, but last 1/3 of the profile has a strong metallic note well beyond the expected mineral profile of a Rockpile wine. TIme may help this to mellow without losing complexity.

Surprisingly solid and complex for this price point, although it's ready to drink now and will not age gently.

Magnum makes all the difference! More structurally sound than 750's which are already past their prime.

Crispness and acidity of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc but with more body and structure.

Fruit and structure were present, but still very young. This needs 2 more years in the bottle.

Enjoyable nose and great initial fruit, but the back end seemed slightly thin.

Big, balanced, fruity, and delicious after decanting. Not as complex as some syrahs, but the accessibility makes it a better food partner.

Well structured, slightly spicy, earthy, and concentrated. Needs to 18 to 24 months to be enjoyable without working for it.

Very young, required 20 minutes in the glass to begin showing itself. Once it arrived there was good depth, balance, and complexity.

Solid wine but starting to lose it's balance. Silky midrange is still great, but the nose is one dimensional and the finish is getting shorter and more herby.
