Big big red. Bouquet has a little concrete, pepper, grass, surprising amount of alcohol. Palette is deep red fruit, slightly bitter, perfect mid-dry. Relatively thin mouthfeel, with slightly sweet aftertaste.

Big apple and passionfruit aromas. Not as sharp as other NZ sauvignons, more of a pommelo than a grapefruit. Nice and round, with good structure.

Hibiscus, a little chlorine and nail polish on the nose. Strawberry blond color. Mild red berry and honey on the palate; not overly fruity. Well-balanced body. Good on a hot day; great with pizza.
