For a value blend from Australia thi is one of my favorite go-to wines. Medium ruby color, dark fruit, earth and oak on the nose. I like to decant to let it open up, and it becomes very well-balanced.

A pretty pedestrian, "typical" California Chardonnay. I like them less flabby, boring.

Bright and acidic, lemon with melon and tropical fruit. Easy drinking, paired very well with salad and baramundi.

Fruity, acid. Good, but not spectacular. Needs more "barnyard"

Very fruit forward. Paired well with a spicy lentil soup because not too high in alcohol. Not spectacular, but fine for a rainy Monday night after a long day.

A really nicer Ribera de Duoro. Nice balance of acidity and tannin, dark fruit, not too "thick".

Zippy and acidic, with citrus and pineapple flavors. Nice mouthfeel, but a little thinner than some of my favorite Pinot Gris. Medium long finish, a nice pairing with fish or mild cheese.

A great classic Sangiovese - could pass for a legitimate Chianti (which I mean as a compliment). Dry, dark fruit undertones with many layers. Nice acidity and finish.

A lovely dry rose - perfect for a late summer garden party. Dry, not at all sweet, but with summer berry flavors and a clean finish.

Once I recovered from the odd closure (a "zork"?), greeted by a clear, dark ruby color. On the nose, oak, vanilla (from the oak), and big black, red fruits. Was uncertain how I would respond, frankly. But in my glass, slightly spicy (Syrah?), nice fruit and acid balance, tannins not as rough as anticipated - really softened and became even more lovely over time, moderate-long finish. Very drinkable, nice layers to the mix. Would definitely purchase again.

A great little white blend. Light gold in color, full bodied fruit, great sensuous mouthfeel. No oak (good for me), nice balance, great finish. Lovely.

Fruit and acid in good balance, a little more off-dry than I anticipated. Really a great easy drinking Sauv Blanc with a nice qpr

This is a great Pinot Gris. Light color, the slightest hint of effervescence at opening, great balance between fruit and acidity. Very easy drinking.

Deep ruby color, a bit tannic, yet fruity (but not in an entirely pleasant way). A little disappointing for a Malbec. Perhaps I've had it too long?

Crisp and reasonably well focused on the bouquet. In the mouth, rubbery and tannic feeling, with mild astringency and flavors of generic berry fruit, oak and herbs. Good for basic occasions.

A little unbalanced. Somewhat astringent on the palate. A little thin. I've liked this more in the past. Perhaps it didn't age well?

I wasn't expecting a great deal at this price point. At first open was pretty tight and acidic, but I felt like it loosened up. Had about half of the bottle, and then closed with vacuum pump, didn't get back to it for 48 hours. Actually felt like it was better for the second half - much more open and balanced.

In short, I would recommend it for a simple dinner wine for everyday use, but I would strongly recommend decanting even up to an hour or so before drinking to give it a chance to breathe well.

Blackberry and plum. You can tell there is Petite Syrah in the blend. Nice acidity, after tannins. Could be more balanced, but not bad for the price point.

Dark cherry red color with raspberry, cranberry on the nose. It was tight at first, but opened up over a but of time. Not quite silky, but certainly smooth and -medium bodied, with ripe cranberry, cherry palate. Medium finish. More restrained than a lot of CA Pinot.

I've read this wine is made from Pinot Noir and from Sauvignon Blanc. It seems to me after drinking two of them that it is likely a blend of the two, although I could be wrong. Salmon in color, with hint of orange. Delicate nose, the aromas of which revealed themselves more after warming up a bit and aeration (I'd placed the bottle in my fridge, which was too cold when I opened it). Overall I would call this wine well balanced - a hit of acid and citrus at first with a lingering finish with spicy notes. A great pairing with grilled fish and meats, or a lovely summer sipper.

Beautiful gold in color, with floral (honeysuckle?) aromas with an undertone of stone. Very mineral at first taste, with fruit in the middle and spice (white pepper?) on the end. Medium to long finish, good acidity and crisp mouthfeel.

Deep ruby, almost glass-staining color. Intense aromas of currant, strawberry, and olive. Tangy, acidic at first, with pepper and red fruits that strengthen as the bottle breathes. Concentrated and with depth, with tannins on the back end and a long finish. Paired absolutely beautifully with the lamb and beef at our table.

Not a bad little white for an everyday wine, but not a favorite. Still, you can get this for under $10, so not a bad deal at all.

Light and crisp, which I generally like. Dry, with peach, melon and citrus flavors. Floral notes (honeysuckle?), with a decent length finish.

First off, know that I love Albarino.

This wine comes with a screwcap - which I don't mind. Color is bright lemon in hue with flashes of green. Flavors of pear, white peach, red apple and nectarine combine with herbal citrus note on the finish. Crisp, lively and dry. Well-balanced with a creamy honey mouthfeel.
