An engaging Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon mix, with a dollop of Sauvignon Vert. Not much on the nose, but it really explodes in your mouth: zesty lemon, peach and ginger with excellent acidity and a tangy finish that will wake you up if (God forbid!) you're drinking this first thing in the morning. The length and complexity of the flavors is impressive. I don't drink much white Bordeaux, but I fancy that this wine could give many of them a run for the money. Good value at $18.00. My only uncertainty is how it will age -- I'll put a bottle down to see, but it's basically too good now to be consigned to the cellar!
