Very drinkable wine, not very complex but went well with pizza. Very straightforward with a dark color and some good dark fruit. It was a gift so no QPR

A very bright cab, bursting with fruit but with some tannins at the middle to level the ride. Nothing really complex bit a real crowd pleaser. I will get more.

Very tart cherry, some (too much) oak, really brought to mind pizza to counter the tart ful flavor. Nothing special will not buy again. First Douro not too impressed, would welcome any recommendations

Surprise!! Wasn't expecting much other than bang for the buck, Dark, inky liquid with a nice nose. PNP'd and got dark fruits and a little oak (which I prefer). Very nice medium finish, which had me refilling instantly. Shared with 3 other people who also really enjoyed it. This is a keeper, will buy more.

Drank after a 2008 Frank Family Cab and it just wowed everyone's taste buds. Dark fruit, with creamy mouth feel and medium bodied taste which made it enjoyable.

Day 2 Wine becomes more elegant but alcohol content more pronounced. Will buy more and store for later tasting. Still really enjoyed its taste profile.

Not their best vintage but a good everyday drinker. As others have noted it is a little greener than past vintages but it smoothed out nicely on the second day.

Very bright Red blend with big cherry overtones. Excellent QPR and very good as an everyday drinker. Decent finish but its strength is in its approachable mid palate smoothness.

I have stayed away from Meiomi becasue I drink a lot of Las Alturras but this vintage is outstanding with a great QPR. New world , over extracted style which I enjoy. Dark Fruit , leather and slight terroir makes this a great PNP bottle. will buy more

Definitely off the trail of Alexander valley wines. Nose is funky with a bit of Jolly rancher cherry. Wine itself is very fruity mid palate with a medium finish. Really like this wine making style. Drink against a Rodney Strong reserve 2009 Cab and all involved preferred this wine.

PNP'd out of wine cooler. Great nose of blackberry and a touch of sour cherry. Very smooth on the palate at first and cranks up the fruit with hints of spice and chocolate. Nice velvety finish that is long and well structured and leaves with a somewhat minty taste. Really enjoyed this wine and will get more. Excellent QPR

Had at an outdoor all-white affair and a concert. Weather was hot ,wine was chilled. Bottle served its purpose. My go-to summer white, especially for non wine drinkers or flavored moscato drinkers.

Drank it at an outdoor concert. After taking sips of all the flavored moscato being passed around it was a welcome respite. At this QPR a favorite for outdoor events.

Of all the Belle Glos wines Las alturras is my favorite. First time drinking this wine and while I enjoyed it, there was nothing to displace my fav. Lots more tart cherry which really dominated my tongue on the initial tasting. Will buy more for storage to see how it develops and would buy if no alturras was available. Very good wine made in the Belle Glos style.

Very dark and inky which surprised me. Decanted for an 1 hour , very nice nose, tasted dates and blackberry. Nice long finish. Would score higher but didn't leave a lasting impression after drinking two other bottles which I rated higher. Great QPR will buy more if available. Excellent for weekday drinking

Brought more, drank more. This blend has become one of my favorites. well integrated ,great drinker, great QPR. Just tastes more expensive than the actual cost. Will buy more as it becomes available. shared with friends who absolutely love it. Drank against a 2008 Alexander Crown and held its own, as this bottle was finished first although it was opened an hour later.

Nose was full of leather and terroir, kindof funky but in a good way. PNP tasting was very tight, but after decanting for 1+ hour it open up and got more enjoyable as the evening went on. Slightly tart cherry and tobacco appeared with a hint of cassis. I will definitely decant for 3+ hours on the next bottle. Not an average cab but worth the time journey. Good QPR

PNP dark cherries on the nose with a touch of oak. Dark color, initial taste of dark fruit without the oak. Lighter than it looks but nice velvety feel and long finish. Will try to hold on to other bottles , the best is yet to come.

Very disappointed in this vintage. For its price there are much better drinkers available. Wine was not complex at all, fruit and tannins were very disjointed. Personally I thought this wine was simply a mess. Tried it on 2nd day and did not get better. Will not buy again.
3rd day -Drank what was left in decanter and must change my grades and notes. What a difference oxygen makes!!! This is drinking smooth and easy. Nice hint of dark fruit and integrated tannins. In the future this will be decanted for 24 hours. Nice surprise considering I was going to dump this in sink. Don't know if I would buy again at this QPR but glad It got better.

PNP thru Venturi then slow ox for an hour. The longer this wine got air the better it tasted. Would recommend a long (4-6 hours) decant before drinking.Looks like it has some good legs to work itself out with time in the cellar. Right now drinking a bit oaky and the tannins are a wee bit disjointed. Will buy more for cellaring and am looking forward to trying the Oakville version.
