The wine looks purple colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and black pepper.
It tastes like blackberry. The body is medium. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes medium.

I can't go as far as a 94. I expect a lot more depth and complexity for a 94. However, the wine is quite silky and smooth. Some black fruit with a quick, light finish. Average score of the group was 88, but I think it deserves more than that.
