Fantastic Napa blend with some advanced characteristics yet still dominated by youthful fruit. A joy, wish I had more.

Very nice Napa mountain cab that was a great value young but is slowing down.

Drinking window says through 2009 but this was alive. After an initial dank mustiness quickly blew off this was thoroughly enjoyable and seemed to have had some time left. All the requisite burgundian chard characteristics and provided an impressive comparison to some typical California chardonnay.

Not quite what I remember it being on release when I devoured several bottles in a hurry. Soft and balanced but lacking the prior depth and charge. The cork was incredibly tight and stuck and I almost reached for a wrench before it finally broke free. Still... enjoyed by all four of us as a kick-off to a great night of wine.

No signs of slowing down but really good right now. Maybe not true classic Brunello with a bit of round fruitiness but a real crowd pleaser.

Phenomenal bottle. Over a long birthday weekend splashed with ridiculous amounts of great wine this stood out. Almost immediately approachable. Deep, dense, rich and relatively youthful. Beautiful aromas that inspired us to create detailed and visual stories involving old houses, worn leather, cedar lined basements and classic cigars. Wish I had more.

Bought at the winery and in my cellar ever since. Initially just good but turned into a very nice bottle of wine. Great Napa aromas... deep, dark fruit, very enjoyable and a great value. Zin is underrated!

On Cellar Tracker drinkability report but this wine has a bit of life left. Almost immediately those wonderful familiar aromas soared from the decanter. Clarendon Hills is an absolute favorite and we were not disappointed once again. Lively tart bing cherry with a pleasant sweetness on the palate. The nose continued to improve for the duration of the three hours of enjoyment. A fantastic expression of Grenache, reaffirming my affection for Roman Bratasiuk's wines.

Solid Italian showing evolved aromas that were muted at first but opened sufficiently during a 3 hour decant. Half a decade in the cellar did this wine well although I wouldn't expect much further evolution. Drink it and enjoy!
