Strong tannins with red fruit, sour cherry on the palate. Very clear blackberry aroma with a hint of raspberry. Likely to mellow on the tannins over a couple of years so leave for a while.

Apr. ‘23 weak and lacking structure, almost flavourless - no good hope next bottle is better. Opens up after a while in the glas do be a muc better wine.

I found the wine a little green tasting of Kiwi and under ripe melon. Interested to see what it tastes like after a few years of aging.

Nose of lightly toasted vanilla and fresh damsons and sloes with a palate of deeper damson and sloe. Tannins evident suggesting good structure and potential for aging.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The body is medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Nose was light and of red summer fruit. taste was thin without much body and tannins were barely discernible. Wonder if this will improve with age or is it always going to be fairly nondescript. better with food (pizza in this instance).

Light vanilla oak on the nose. On the palate light cherry and darker vanilla. This had a good 2 hours plus decanting of which 15 minutes where swirling the wine which helped open it up. tannins still a bit tight. given it is near end of drinking window I wonder if there is any more opening up to do?
White - Sweet/Dessert

Tight, yet to open but the dark blackcurrant and tannins bode well for the future. Look forward to trying again in a year or two.

Tannins not very evident. Light red fruits - cherry predominantly. Will this wine develop more complex flavours. Possibly. Look forward to seeing if darker fruits and chocolate emerge. maybe liquorice?

Light with a little fruit. BBQ drinking wine or summer's day when a white will just not do.

Soft mouth feel, reasonably fine bubbles and apricot flavour with just enough acid to give the wine structure.
