Wow! This was delicious .. Very mature and probably over the hill but soo enjoyable still. These wines age very well.

Gary Moore sang: "over the hill and far away" and when I was sipping this bottle I could not agree more. I doubt very much he referred to the 1988 Pavillon Blanc as he released this song rather prematurely in 1987. Anyway, Gary has been dead since 2011 and this Pavillon Blanc died with him. Or possibly before.

Not previously familiar with this producer but enjoyed this very much. Aerated in decanter for about one hour which revealed a pleasant modestly spiced nose. Given how burgs are priced today I think this was a relative bargain for a 2005.
The wine looks light brown colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.
