This is not a bad wine, but for my taste was to dry and "scratchy". I've already have much better Viogniers than this one...

Amazing Verdejo. I think it is on it's top form now to drink.

For me, definitely one of the best Chardonnay wines I've ever tryed. Good body, rich aroma and very long ending. Much better than some Chablis that cost you more.

If you enjoyed the 2001, try the 2003, for me much more complex, better aroma and with stronger body. The 2001 for me and the other 4 people that tasted it, did not surprise in a positive way. Not bad, but for the price expected much more of an 12 y.o. wine....

Has a ruby color and reveals great aromatic intensity with a quality wood which gives it great complexity. The palate is well balanced, with highlights of red fruits and spices, with an excellent structure, firm tannins and well integrated acidity. Its finish is long and complex.
When comparing to the 2001 harvest, the 2003 is far better on aroma, body and finish.
I payed 45 Euros retail price for the bottle, an excellent value for what you get.
