Consistent with prior review - Pink color with orange hue with promising grapefruit, strawberry, and a hint of floral aromas. On the palate, it approaches medium-bodied, is dry and crisp with generous strawberry, citrus, and spice flavors, and good length. Blend of 55% grenache, 23.5% mourvèdre, 10% roussanne, 2.5% carignane, 2% grenache blanc, 7% cinsaut. 13% alcohol. A perennial favorite Rosé!

Deep purple, fruit and oak on the nose, big black cherry taste with some spice. Good balance with a nice long finish. Should cellar another 5 years.

2011 Barão de Vilar Porto Vintage Port Blend

Day 1: Enjoyed it though the tannins were a bit harsh... hoping that they mellow out w time in decanter.
Day 3: Finally tasted more balanced (ie, enjoyable) after a full day in decanter and 2 back in the bottle
Day 4: Fruit was starting to fade. Good that we're almost done w it

At $38 wont be buying more

5/1/14, 8:42 AM - The 2011 vintage is being declared one of the best in decades. It should be laid down for at least 10 years, preferably longer. For $38 its a steal. Cellar and forget it for years!!
