Shipment arrived and had to open one while allowing the others to settle. This has meaningful potential with time. A little tight and tart at the moment but I suspect that matures in time. Dark, cherry color in the glass. Nice nose where I agree with other comments that it delivers red berry on the nose, some spices emanating from the oak and a hint of vanilla. Overall, I really like the potential. Nice job, KB.

Wow, a really terrific wine. Well integrated, interesting nose and just so silky smooth. I think WS put this in their top 100; I don't put much stock in the actual ranking but use it as a guide to try new wines. Thrilled they called this one out for me.

Leather and new car smell. Dark fruit with nice mid palate and finish. Nice but price point seems too high.

Interesting wine to try but it doesn't rise into the "favorites" category. Nose has citrus flavors and fruity, reminded me of the smell of a box of candy "dots". Finish was intriguing. Overall while enjoyable and the right price, I'm a touch surprised WS placed this in their top 100 most exciting wines for 2014.

Dark fruit, cocoa powder and fresh herbs/earthiness to it. Great balance and body but still young and seems like it might age well. Will hold the two remaining bottles to see how they age.

An enjoyable wine and it reminded me of a Meomi. Light bodied with hints of cherry and some light leather or earthiness on the nose. A very light drinking wine that can pair well with with a variety of foods.

Young wine and needs time. Bought based on price of $15.99 a bottle and WS rating of 93. Dark in color. Nose has peppercorn, smokey, leather and dark fruit. Taste is big, meaty and I felt like a had a cigar in my mouth. Finish is pleasant but evident it needs time to settle. Won't go as high as 93 but terrific for price and could see it pairing well with food from the grill.

This gets a solid 92 points from me. Great on the nose, mid palate and a nice lingering finish. Nose was red fruit for me with a mix of coffee and chocolate powder (nestle quick). Well balanced and for the right price.

We really enjoyed this one with a pop and pour experience. With the next bottle, we're going to let it decant as this wine really opened up nicely as it sat in the glass. Nose gave us dark fruity, woodsy and some cocoa started to surface as time went on. Smooth, elegant but can be a bit light on finish. We're happy to have found this one, for sure.

We enjoyed this wine that we served with tacos on a nice summer day. We popped and poured and enjoyed the wine. Nice floral nose with some honeysuckle and butterscotch. Taste gets a few extra points for not being so mouthy, full, buttery and oaky. It was a nice, pleasant level of butter and depth. Finish was a touch light but positive reviews and a recommended purchase for those who want to avoid a chardonnay that's too buttery and oaky.

We had a very interesting experience with this wine. We decanted the wine for 60 minutes and had one glass. The first glass provided us with a nose similar to a blueberry sweet tart, some leather and spice. The taste was big and full with the alcohol content off the charts. Given the alcohol content and bigness of the wine, we allowed the remaining wine to decant overnight. The following day at dinner, the wine was much more settled, pleasant, balanced and offering more subdued nose of some black cherry and leather.

This is a terrific value wine at $17-$18 a bottle. I bought one bottle and plan on grabbing a few more for everyday wine. Not perfect but good. Bigger, blueberry and some cherry and hints of cocoa.

We bought a couple bottles of this wine and after 5 months decided to open one bottle to give it a try. Stored at roughly 57-58 degrees and when we opened it, it decanted for 60 minutes. In short, a delicious wine with hints of spice and some in our group were adamant about cigar on the nose. Taste is very cherry cola and dr. pepper. Well rounded and a nice lasting finish. Worth a try if one crosses your path.

My shipment from Kosta Browne arrived and I opened one bottle of the 2012 RRV (stored the rest) and decanted for 90 minutes. It's a nice wine with hints of spice, black cherry and some cola. It's very smooth, elegant but a bit too light on the mid palate for my liking. Very much reminds me of an Oregon Willamette Valley or Burgundian Pinot. Pleasant wine but not proven to be too special.
