Overall I feel all the elements are there for a good wine , just needs time to intergrate and develop , I’ll be interested to try this again in a few years 9/11

Beautiful wine. Medium bodied, nice bouquet - albeit reserved. Red fruits on the palate; raspberries and cream. A persistent seam of fine grained tannins and cool acidity make it hard to resist the next sip. Among the best examples of Australian merlot. Outstanding.

A beautiful floral bouquet on the nose accompanied by red berries, cedar, spring grass and wild herbs. Red and black currants, sour cherries, tobacco, cedar and some bay leaf and vanilla elements. Silky and only medium bodied. Beautifully weighted and quite delicate despite its formidable structure. Super fine tannins and a very long and persistent finish. A beautiful wine in every sense. Top shelf Australian Bordeaux blend. Will age for many years.

Beautiful wine. Cedar and raspberries on the nose. On the palate, blackberries, some blackcurrant, hints of raspberry, cigar box, subtle liquorice and some regional mint. Medium bodied, fine grippy tannins and a very long finish. Drinking very well now but should hold comfortably for another five years.

6/25/17, 5:09 AM - Hi Chatters. It's very well settled and balanced, but I'm getting mainly primary characters. The oak has settled well. But I didn't try it near release, so not sure how it started.
