Didn't have much of a smell, at all. We decanted for about 45 mins before drinking. The wine was just a bit flat, for lack of a better word. Nothing spectacular. It wasn't horrid, just.... flat. Not complex at all.

We had this with steak and shrimp. Decanted for about 30 minutes. Had a fruity nose-very little heat. Paired well with the steaks and was very enjoyable.

I have just always liked this stuff. A fine departure from all the reds my husband likes to drink.

It was okay. Fruit nose. It was a little hot. After sitting for about 30 minutes it did get better. Very little aftertaste. We ate monterey jack/colby (our favorite) with it and it overpowered the cheese to me, but another taster said it was a good pairing.

This was SO good! We aged it a little over a year after purchase from the winery. There was a definite fruity nose at first. This waned after about 15 minutes. It was smooth and delightful. Very little heat. No real mouthfeel to speak of. The finish was very pleasant and left an 'oaky' aftertaste. I need to buy some more!

~It is very red... opaque
~nice legs
~Nose is very fruity and you don't smell really any alcohol.
~A smooth wine
~finish was I'd say moderate.. not TOO strong-it doesn't stick too long with you either. (that's a good thing IMO)
~It didn't have a stinging mouthfeel.
~After about 30-45 mins sitting the tastes were the same for us.

Would I recommend this wine?
yes - it really isn't in that 'everyday' category for me. It is smooth to my liking, but it lacks a 'punch' I can't quite put my finger on. I did like it.

I didn't think I was going to, but I really liked this wine. It is a good dinner wine.

It was okay. I expected something a bit sweeter. It really smelled like blueberries. I mixed it with a bit of champagne and it helped the taste a lot.
