As I was curious, I opened a bottle before lunch to let it breathe in a wide decanter for 7 hours. Drank it during dinner, where it paired very well with wild hare. Of course, it is a very young wine, inky dark and not too much details on the nose yet. However, it is a very complete and competent wine, with the young fruit (cassis and blackberries) being most obvious. The tannins are present, but not too disturbing. In the aftertaste it remains smooth and speaks of its class with a mouth-filling and pleasant consistancy. All in all, I really enjoyed this wine. I have several more bottles, and I am sure that it will age well for years and years to come, but it will be hard to keep them burried in the cellar and forget about them.... Recommended!

Decanted for 4 hours. Tannins still quite present; the wine appears rather 'hard' on drinking. In the nose there is a lot of cassis and some chocolate. Interesting combination, and attractive to me. The after taste is nice, lingers for about 30 seconds. Good combination with cooked meat. This is a wine that probably will benefit from another 1-2 years of cellaring for sure. I've got some more, but won't check back for another year.
