Textbook spicy Argentinian Malbec from altitude. Developed fruit and floral character (dried flowers, redcurrant, black fruits) and lots of spices. Oak notes fully integrated and developed in smoky, chocolate / cocoa like character and some nuttiness. Amazing texture, tannins are still really there (but in a nice way).

Probably at its peak now, although it could even get more complex when a broader range of tertiary notes are developed. Will hold its peak for probably 4-5 years and be drinkable for even longer - conservatively estimated.

This wine is really starting to get to a nice place! Already ready to drink, however, still some years away from its peak.
It clearly lives up to the expectations and I agree with Allen Meadows that this is a 94 point wine and its peak might start at 2026.

The wine is incredibly concentrated with a fine spine of acidity - it does not seem heavy at all, just pure elegance! In that sense it is a textbook Meursault Perrières. However, it should be noted, that is clearly shows the style of the vintage, as mineral flavours are in the background (at least at the moment). Otherwise this is a perfect Burgundy...white and yellow orchard aromas with layers and layers of complexity that still require some time to unpack; perfectly integrated oak flavours which are also very complex and just need some time to integrate even more and a touch of sweetness that hints at a future where this might somewhat smell and taste like an old Chablis (with oak) with ripe developed fruit, honey, spices, almonds, nuts and hay in the future.

I absolutely love Meursault Perrières, since it is my favourite vineyards of the Côte de Beaune and if you don't mind a fruitier style, this is an amazing wine for you! And I suppose, the older it gets, the style of the vintage will show less and less and this will get much more "terroir-driven" and even better.

An excellent wine from an excellent domaine!

Smoky, spicy open nose with lots of sweet vanilla, caramel and nuts notes. The fruit has already developed a bit into very ripe stone fruit, orange marmelade and some tropical touches mixed in. Creamy mouth feel and quite buttery on the palate with a prominent sense of salinity, minerality and wet stones. This one is truly a beauty and a great wine that can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years with pleasure. Very much in harmony and a wine of nice fruit ripeness and concentration. Very good Villages!

This was just straight up awful...we did not drink it, but poured it down the kitchen sink. Very bad quality!!

Wow! This is Germany's best Pinot Noir at the Moment!
When you wonder why Huber is so celebrated - taste this!
It definitely has - no doubt - Grand Cru Quality in Terms of concentration, structure and Balance
This wine checks all boxes and will develop in an amazing wine, although this one is definitely for the Long haul
Do not touch this for 10 years at least

This wine was my favourite of Huber's Pinot Noirs!
Such a nice elegance and perfumed flavour structure
But it will Need time to develop
Very Long...really looking Forward to tasting this 5-6 years from now

This is one of Huber's best wines year after year
I really like the nice fruit flavours and the spiciness it Shows
Tannin structure seems to be great, so this could age gracefully

More concentration and depth than the village bottling
A bit too much oak this year, so this will not be a classic Pinot Noir, but this will develop into a great wine
But I will Need some time for that

His "village" bottling
Here, he already Shows his qualities as a winemaker
The wine is quite simple, but Shows great Balance and flavour structure
This is how a light Pinot Noir wine should taste

Better than the vintage before
Ripe, slightly cooked red fruit, very powerful and concentrated
Shows a great acidity, which gives the wine a nice Balance
This is classical "old style" Priorat, wines grow on slate which gives the wine an even "warmer" flavour Profile than others from Priorat have

Full of spicy, well-nouanced flavours and a master example of elegance
As with many Loosen wines, concentration and tightness of flavour structure is not that great, but this is a classic Würzgarten Spätlese from a warm and very good vintage

The American style of Brunello, not typical at all, but an okay wine, which is near aromatic death right now
Fruit is gone, Tannin quite raw, this is not a Brunello a Brunello Lover will like

This vintage delivers a huge Punch, very powerful compared to other Rioja Alta bottlings
Nice Balance and acidity, great Tannin structure, but this Need further development...drink in 5-15 years

Great concentration for a village wine, the oak influence still seems to be unpolished and on the smoky, not that delicate side
Very ripe fruits, but this wine Shows a great Balance
Maybe not a village botteling which will hold up for ages, but should be at its best at the age of 5-8 years

Californian style of Chardonnay, very okay, Biskuit flavours, fruit is really lacking here
Although the Balance is there, this is lacking class and elegance

Medium golden color, beautifully developed nose of ripe stone fruit and a "warm" spiciness; on the palate a bit flabby, lacking acidity, very long, just a bit out of balance

Big, typical Barolo with some oak flavours which are integrated in a very subtle way. On the nose the wine smells like plums, baken or dried dark fruits, blackberries, flowers (violets e.g.) and a lot of spicy, earthy notes with an iron/salt character. Moreover, secondary notes of oak treatment, coffee, chocolate, coal, smoke, vanilla - and teritiary aromas of cinnamon, tar.

Very intense, very complex, very long and such a nice balance - really a wine without a weakness, although it might stand behind the greatness of iconic Barolos like Monprivato and very good Cannubis.

The terroir of La Morra shows in the high acidity of the wine, added by the relatively cold year, which gives the wine a freshness although it is full-bodied and the tannin is (as usual with Barolo) massive.

Entering his peak right now, should last at this level for at least 7-8 years...becoming more tertiary along the way of course.

This is really my style of red wine...I enjoyed every bit of this bottle.
And compared to wines at this quality level from other regions, I consider this wine as good value (GV).

92/100 (on a conservative scale, like Allen Meadows's point scale)

Classic Prüm!
A very warm and sweet vintage, this has great concentration, but at least my bottle seemed to lack a bit of acidity. Bought it from a questionable source.
Needs time to integrate the sweetness fully, at least 5 to 8 years, if not more. This should age very well!

Stone fruit, tropical fruit and very good length

A Rioja monument!
Truly one of the best wines of Spain and an extraordinary expression of the Tempranillo grape!
This is one of the best wines that I had. Very special, but if you like Rioja, you will LOVE this wine. This one is as good as Rioja gets. No mistake, no weakness, and the margin between this and a 100 point wine is small.

Still very restrained, especially on the nose, but coming with power, layers and layers of flavours and fresh fruit and a piercing acidity. This wine perfectly shows its terroir and drinks already very well today. Green, yellow and red apple combined with citrus fruit (lime, citrus, orange, blood orange) really have a nice expression, combined with powerful minerality and the classic "Keller" caramel flavour.
After some time opening up and showing really high intensity, truly amazing length (goes on for over one minute), lovely texture, simply a Riesling without any weaknesses and a great personality and lots of potential left, which should reveal itself over the next years.
Highly recommended!!

Should reach its peak in another 6-7 years.

This wine now really begins to show its potential. Very elegant, lean Riesling style, but there is so much fruit and the complexity of the flavours is just remarkable.
Besides, this wine has a truly individual character, really special flavours and long finnish
Another very good Dönnhoff wine of his remarkable 2016 vintage!

Great Grenache wine, old-school (traditional) winemaking, cool-climate style, smells like perfume, but is a bit more firm on the palate than the Vina Bonita from the same vintage
Should have the tannins to age gracefully and develop in a very, very interesting wine.
This one is not only a very good, but a truly outstanding, big wine - such a remarkable quality with amazing complexity, concentration and length

Extremely good value for his low price!!!

A really lovely Garnacha! Maybe it has even more potential than it now shows.
Traditional "old-school" winemaking, cool-climate style, despite of the hot region near Madrid. A lot of fruit and very delicate flavours, could develop in a very complex showing of its primary flavours.
Has had a bit of time in large oak bottles, almost a classical "Brunello-style" to it...lots of finesse and elegance, but also great potential to be even better when it ages
This wine is like an amazing perfume - so much fun to drink!

Really nice Riesling Sekt, a bit more like a Champagne compared to other fruitier Riesling Sekt styles
A nice combination of aromas from flowers, fruit and secondary flavours like bread, brioche and yeast
Great Sekt, especially for this price
It should still have a bit of aging potential and keeps its peak for a few years, maybe even evolve a little in bottle

Wow - for me the most impressive wine of the vintage!
It is a bit on the ripe side of a Kabinett, but still less-bodied than their Spätlese.
Such amazing fruit, concentration and complexity and a long finish. This wine possesses all the components to make it a real stunner when it has aged. I really love this wine.
I bought six bottles of it and am really curious how it will develop over the next years. It will need some time to show its full potential, but buying this wine is certainly worth it!
Very good value!!

This wine is one of the best red wines I have ever had! Still young and - of course - not showing his full potential, but amazing concentration, stunning complexity and a long, long finish...this wine just had it all!
In my opinion, there is no reason at all why this wine should not be a completely outstanding wine when it reaches its peak.
Right now the primary flavours are taking the command of the nose and palate, they are very ripe and the wine seems full-bodied, but it is definitely not too much, not too "sweet" - just right.
Amazing winemaking, amazing terroir and an amazing vintage came together here - I have never had a better Châteauneuf-du-Pape in my life.
Amazing potential!!!

What should I say - I love Chambolle-Musigny! Always did, ever will...

This wine has a lot of individuality!
Really lovely concentration and length, could have had a bit more complexity in its flavours, but this one is definitely one of the best Muscats I have ever had!
Truly an amazing wine and a wine style which is unique (the only thing which could be compared to it are sweet wines from the Neusiedler See in Austria)

This is a really reliable red wine for a moderate price, I really liked it. The wine has absolutely no flaws. Of course, compared to the truly outstanding wines of the world, it lacks complexity, concentration and length, but this wine is really amazing.
A bit more individuality and "terroir" style would be nice, feels a bit like an "Old School New World Wine" from France.
It has great potential to still improve, however, and developed nicely in the decanter, when we offered it some fresh oxygen.
