1/30/22, 4:58 PM - Nice to see someone is aware of this surprising winery!
8/7/21, 2:34 PM - Thanks!
1/14/21, 11:02 AM - Thanks!
12/21/20, 2:47 PM - I marked 2022 as the early side of the drinking window, based on last evening, so I would say 2-3 years and try it, especially if you have more than one in case it's still a bit young.
11/30/20, 4:17 PM - Thank you for the comments and notes, would never have done that without your commentary!
11/6/20, 9:21 AM - I always try to stay aware. Sometimes I just want to relax and enjoy without thinking too much, which is when a wine like this is just fine.
9/30/20, 8:09 PM - I'll tuck that away for future reference! "Live and learn" as it relates to wine!
3/30/20, 10:47 PM - Haha!
12/15/19, 9:48 PM - Very probably.
6/14/19, 5:48 PM - Across two tastings, I did not note that here, and I try to be as complete as possible. Admittedly, I'm on the rookie end of the spectrum in terms of tasting experience, but I would think something dramatic like roasted raisins I would have noticed and there'd be some aspect of the tasting notes that would hint at it.
6/14/19, 7:46 PM - Also, you might look at the 2015 vintage of this wine, which I actually liked slightly better.
4/1/18, 3:45 PM - I think the difference was that the first bottle was PNP and the second one got 45m of air before drinking. I'm not sure it has significant upside, beyond what you get from giving it air, to justify space in the cellar.
12/31/17, 10:31 PM - I only had the opportunity to try the 2014 Howell Mountain Cab at this particular tasting.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
