This wine opens with soft notes of dried flowers and a subtle hint of apricot. On the palate, refreshing flavors of lemon tart and lively grapefruit shine through with great intensity. Its fine bubbles add elegance to each sip. The finish is creamy with a touch of brown sugar. This RdJ is the oldest I've tasted, and it's in a perfect place now, with potential to age gracefully.

Quite dark for a “rose”. Fresh cranberry with hint of bitterness in the finish. Some vanilla and savory notes are also presented. Ordered in PARCOFIERA and paired extremely nicely with all the home-made cold cut ( and other dishes)

Yokult-like with punchy acidity. Apricot kernel drink and almond. Some natural wine stinks with a medium finish. Yet this works 100% with Tartar source (91pt, yet 93-94pt with food!)

Vanilla dried apricot and a bit of white truffle on the nose, this grand wine has a sweet core that is wrapped with blueberry, strawberry, leather, smoke, spices, and other savory flavors.
Very gentleman-like and charming. A lot younger than its actual age. 14% in alcohol with fine-grained tannin.

It starts with lots of plum juice smell, not completely clean to be honest.
However, this gradually evolved into a charming wine full of cherry and violet. Medium tannin with relatively high acid, everything remains balanced and energetic. One of the most elegant interpretations of Merlot-based wine I’ve ever had.

Delicate purple flowers with fresh cranberry. Lifted palate with fresh blueberry and mint. Tannin is extremely refined, especially for a wine in this age. Lots of energy with a hint of forest floor is infused in the background. No sign of roughness that can be found often in Aloxe-Corton wine. Such a hedonistic wine

Light gold in color, yet feels very young and energetic. Green apple, grapefruit, and lemon curd. Superb intensity, crispy acidity with nicely balanced umami. Such a unique wine. Multi-layered.

Pronounced flinty nose with white flowers.
Orchard, lemon peel, with insanely focused minerality. This great intensity holds up from the beginning to the end. Such a Classic Coche and now on its plateau.

This is not about the powerfulness that people often associated with Rhone wine, instead, this is about purity and energy, with the right amount of character (wildness?) on top of it. Loads of wild berries and dried flowers on the nose. With 12.5% alcohol, the palate started very fresh yet relatively light with cherry and a hint of olives. This gains weight and complexity with about 45min of air. Intense cherry with blackberry wrapped up with meaty, sheer, velvety tannin. Such a special Cornas!

Cecile Tremblay & Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Dinner (ZEA Taipei): 9. Most powerful wine of the day. Stylistically quite different than her post 14/15 wine. The nose of blackberry, spiced plum and potpourri, Gamey notes can be found on the nose and palate. Very structured and well-made, yet still prefer her newer wine.

Drank half bottle around 12:30pm and 2nd half at 9:30pm

12:30pm: Similar to the experience about 1.5 years ago. The nose is pretty expressive upon opening with red flowers and vivid spices. Wild strawberry and red cherry dominate the fruit profile on the palate with superb mineralogy and tension supporting it. Such a flamboyant wine.

9:30pm: The nose is similar to the lunchtime, with some cinnamon added on top. Much broader and deeper, with more noticeable vanilla and black tea. No sign of fatigue at all. Even though I personally slightly prefer the earlier showing, this is still lovely. (96pt)

Ruby red with slightly bricking. A classic Latour with cassis, blueberries, earthy tobacco, and pencil lead. The vivid palate is soft the fully matured, paring nicely with A5 Wagyu. The finish and overall depth aren’t comparable with top vintages, yet I would say this is a hedonist Bordeaux.

From a low-fill bottle with a missing lid. The color is pretty brown. PnP, dried roses with mixed berries. 1H later this evolves into a soft, gentle textured juice with sous bois. A good bottle should be fine but this is now several years past from its prime.

Medium-light in color. Luring red cherry with heavenly floral notes that compound the mixture of lilac and roses. Just a hint of spices is added on top of it. Soft and elegant on the plate with lively and vivid acidity. Delicate yet long finish. This is all you want for a 1er cru Chambolle. Extremely hedonistic.

Quite Fragrant with cherry blossoms and sour cherry on the nose. On the palate. Noticeable Vitamin C-like profile with fresh red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. Lots of energy going on here. This can go well with many different types of food.

Intense lime and green apple on the nose, same on the palate. Sparkly acidity with great intensity. Definitely very Jura and “natural”, yet very clean. Opened 30min before pouring.

Selosse Millesime Vertical 1995-2009: The vivid nose of cinnamon, citrus, and pine nuts. Very energetic palate with honey apple. Like the 02, the minerality here is impeccable. Long and satisfying finish. Truly a modern classic.
