8/17/16, 3:02 PM - Someone asked about the Cellar history of my last bottle of 08 Insignia. I only buy futures direct from Phelps. This was the 4th bottle consumed from that vintage. All bottles sit in a controlled cellar at 58 degrees. My cellar is quite large and I have zero cellar related issues. To clarify, the wine was wonderful, but it was far more mature than I expected. I did not mean to scare anyone, only put them on notice that the 08 vintage may not have the same lasting power as some of the other vintages.....based only on this single bottle.....
