We finished this wine in 3 hours. It's that good. Really subtle and drinkable. A little woodsy on the nose with some dark fruit. It has some peppery accents, but might be too faint for people who like bigger, bolder wines. However, the subtlety makes it an excellent food wine.

Initially smelled of blackberry pie and whipped cream, with some meaty undertones. Mellows significantly as it decants. Subtle taste, but with a nice spice on the mid-palate.

On the nose cherry cola with some vanilla oak, maybe some white pepper. Shows some sour cherry and orange peel on the palate. Decent acidity maybe a little under ripe. Definitely not your over extracted brooding Cali pinot. Not great, but good enough for midweek, and should be relatively easy to pair.

Very smokey nose. All wet wool and diesel fuel in the rain with just a hint of white peach. Very acidic with little to no fruit anywhere to be found the first day opened. The profile was dominated by acid, smoke and mineral. BUT the second day started to reveal some peach and apricot flavors to complement the strong minerality / smokiness. Still not enough fruit for my California sunshine and lollipop palate but with the right food and maybe some bottle age this might be very rewarding.

Very perplexing, not your typical Aussie chard. Would not have guessed this was a chard in a blind tasting. Tasted more like a California Sav. Blanc. By this I mean it had lots of citrus fruit, maybe some white peach, a little grass and minimal oak. Good cheap summer wine, refreshing and would pair with most light fair. But for those looking for oak, butter, apple, tropical fruit (typical chard notes) this will leave you disappointed.

It has tropical fruit notes, especially pineapple. The body has gotten a little flabby with age, but there is still some nice acidity. Horrible with chocolate. Nothing special, but a good wine for a warm midweek night. It will get finished quickly.

Strangely funky on the nose initially. Nice mouth feel, medium to heavy body but with enough acidity to avoid being cloying. Good red fruit tasting of sour cherries or cranberries. Had a floral component from the Freisa that was interesting. The wine really came into it's own after about an hour of decanting. Tasty and unique!

Lacked enough fruit to balance the acidity. Had good black pepper notes on the palate indicative of cool climate zin. The fruit just seemed to be under ripe.

Lacking acidity to balance the sweetness. A little flabby. Some promising aromatics were overwhelmed by too much sugar to make this a legitimate geverts.

Easy drinking red showing good red fruit but lacking the acidity or tannins to score much higher. For six bucks you really can't go wrong. A perfect midweek wine. I challenge you to find a red wine with more character for this price.

A little too full bodied for my taste. Heavy red fruits made this wine more zin/syrah than pinot. Was a good sweet oakey red wine that showed plenty of sunny California fruit but lacked the acidity to really make it a food wine.

Strong wet wool/lanolin notes on the nose and the palate. This initial flavor complements vibrant acidity and medium bodied texture that makes this wine very food friendly. Have four bottles and am very excited to see what this does in the years to come. A very unique white wine.
