Astonishing value. Not super complex, but oozes class and punches well above its weight. I don't think it's possible to ask for more at the price point. This producer continues to be massively underrated.

Charming style. Lovely, not super complex but well made with dusty, herbal, dried sour cherry notes on the palate. Not typlcal of Felsina's Classico bottlings, this runs more to red fruit than black. Good freshness at this stage, with some mild tannic grip. Very drinkable but will last for a while (not sure that's the point here though).

Very small batch monovarietal Canaiolo. Lovely, drinking beautifully now. Refined but warm nose, the first thought is this is a Super Tuscan, but without noticeable Bordeaux overtones. On the palate it is round but with good structure, fleshy but not fat, not as mineral-driven as good Sangiovese often is, and with nice depth. Can see why this grape blends so well with Sangiovese, the character is different but very complementary. Paneretta is very underrated producer.
