Nice dark ruby color with a definite French wine taste. Very nice, should improve with age.

7/22/18, 10:42 PM - The bottle I drank in November 2017 had a slightly different mixture of GSM than another user who replied to my tasting note. My bottle's label looks the 2nd label attached to this wine, except that my bottle also lists ALC 14.5 BY VOL. My bottle does not have a UPC#.
I am guessing the slightly different mixture of GSM is related to it it being imported by Grape Connections Imports, San Diego, California - maybe their batch was slightly different than another importer.

Nice garnet color and Pinot Noir aroma. After an hour it's flavor was fully developed & balanced, with hints of strawberry.

Tasted only a half hour after opening to find this wine was ready to drink. I had expected a wine with 14.2% alcohol to need more time to breathe. Aroma and flavor have more fruit than many cabs, tasting of currants. Dark purple color with a rich, lingering flavor and a medium body. A very nice cab that I found in the low $20s, I will buy more. A visit to this winery (and the neighboring wineries) is a must do when in Paso Robles.
