such a pleaser of nebbe.
On the nose its cool climate red fruits, cherries, tad of that fries mushroom
non-aggressive tannins are rolling around your pallet combined with good concentration. Fresh nebbe?
well, it can probably be stored away for a few more years and depanding on your choice of style, though this wine I prefer with fruit and I think 2015 is very drinkable at the moment

Stunning wine with all the qualities from an Alsace riesling with age the honey, the peach, some salinity and a broadness to it. Yet this Beyer ,even with the fatness of this style that can become overpowering at times, it still manages to keep up acidity and keep it energized. Long length. Will keep longer but this is very drinkable more. So sad this was my last bottle

Very classic Rodez style. Yet intense, musky still young and very saline. Gave me all that I wanted. Was paired with fresh whale in soya reduction and wasabi mayo. What a hit!

I know, a youngster but temptation got me. No regrets, this is succulent in all matters.
The nose is full of fresh nectar citrus fruits and candied citrus which continues into the palate. Already written here yet I can confirm the lightness of the wine. Or the peppyness is more accurate. Sharp, very balanced and saltyness that lingers. It's expensive and there are more cheap superb Kabi's but this certainly adds one more level.

93 Wit the possibilty for more. Stupid me opened one after a tip of early ripening in this, but No sir. It has the sensual pinot fruit with slight hint of spices and earthy notes. Yet not come to its opening, far from it. 3 hours in decanter Was nothing but a grow pill to a youngster. Very long finish, small tannins and the structure and fruit of what is to come.

Final note from day three, this is some clean crystalclear chardonnay. Light crackers, newly baked crackers and pineapple, the list could go on. It's fresh combined with a tad nuttyness, crisp fruit that goes on for a long long period, just a perfect mix of round fruit and some umami. A pleasure to take that other smell and zip. One of these examples of how great a chardonnay from Cali can be.

My favorite NV standard Champagne. If you want decadent richness and acidity this is it! I want to save some because I thing they have more to offer with a few years in the cellar but its hard to keep your hands off. 89+

Cotton candy, cloud berried and nectar on the nose. I would rate it higher by pure drinking joy, however it lacks a tad acidity and complexity for higher scores. Was a swell match to brie and apples though. Will I buy again? Absolutely

One of those charming pinot's. I've tasted british ones before which I thought might be a tad puny, but not Gusbourne. Nice fresh cherry fruit together with some faint dark chocolate notes. Silky small tannins and lush fruit character on palate. Little development already so I wont keep them for ten years, maybe three. Perfect match to your chicken leg

As always a star. Nik weis tends to show nothing but poppy elegance, specially all he makes with residentual sugar 😍 his Wiltinger is village of old vines and its show off in tge textured concentration. Not complex yet this slick salty and nectarin nose as well as palate. The perfect cellar defender++

Late note, but this is not the most oily, yet definitly not your most stony and slim Alsace. Seems pure youth if you add a tad of that nuttyness theese alsace rieslings give you. It's a reminder to drink more from Alsace. Paires extremly well with your tempura plate & hot&sweetsauce

Decadent champagne very much of my likings. Great acidity to balanse nutmeg and richness to it. Yet it is very much a puppy that I will leave in cellar for a while 😊

Very young, however this does not have this frozen berries and young lime zest I usually connect with Mosel Riesling, it has some oilyness to it. Its yet very very young and I believe for an oppsite after a couple of years yes. Next note 2025 😊

This was a proper experience, fresh cherries, sweetened cherres, a hint of Earl Grey and a touch of violes appeares after som air. True elegance and a delicasy not often wound, but is happening right here. It seems almost frail at first zip, but there is a hidden nerve and it matches very well with easters leg of lamb, thyme and garlic. delicate tannins and a refreshing acidity which is never imposing. I keep wanting another zip, but will keep one laying down.

Classical notes, very salty and long lasting finish, lime zest & seashore on the nose which is very pleasant. It's on the lighter side, yet not skinny at all. Is drinking well now, but I am not surprised if it will intensify in saltyness if kept laying sideways for å while

How elegant and delicious can Rhone get, well this is the answer to that. Light on nose, with juicy purple fruit, fresh pepper and tiny bits of anis. Has a fresh feeling to it. Almost burgundy like in structure, the tannins has mellowed out and some acidic bakbone for the te fruit. Good length. A true charmer. had it with finnbiff, a creamy reindeerstew and that was a wrap. Don`t know if I see any developement reasons for saving it, yet there is no stress to open it neither.

as one of my friends said when asked about this wine, this is intense!! if afraid this will be oxidative in any way you are mistaken. it has some hay notes, but most of all fall berries like cloudberries. an open palate with medium high acidity with a long lasting aftertaste. a match made in heaven for your extra rich brie

A rather enjoyable and drinkable Alsace riesling. Decanted for 3 hours before it was back in bottle. Juicy fresh tropical nectars, honey and flint. It was not to aromatic, more on the subtle side. Classic oilyness on palate that I truly love, more honey in mouth, and fresh. It can definitly develope more honey and earthy notes with time, yet it lacked some concentration, or maybe I just expected more. So for me the bottle was in a perfect window now! A delight with butter chicken

Lush surprise. Just to say, incredibly open for being young. I believe it will age well for the next 5 years to come yet, you dont need to save it either. Mixture of, dark floral notes, sunkissed raspberries, perfumed and a sence of tra leaves and gravel. Mentioned before in this post; something very Chambollesk about. More fruit on palate together with slightly mintyness, earthyness and quite high integrated acidity. Small tannins giving a bite in the end with good length. Easy to fall in love with already

yes hello, where did this come from. Alvina Pernod and her husband released their first vintage in 2018, yet this wine, only their 2nd vintage they reallly seem like they are on top of things. decanted for 4 hours before enjoyed with ramen soup. Best combo ever.

The wine itself got more structure after four hours in decanter, buttery malo, lemon zest and fresh pineapple, and no cask noticeable. High acidity and good consentration and nerve in this wine. It seems as Alvina do not aspire to bring out big, pomp-Burgundies, instead give us classic burgundies with elegance and restraint . I Like it, super qpr and cant wait to see how it will evolve

The dream toast, popcorn, butter, honey, light spices, mango and banana(that one blew away quite rapidly), but not to high aromatic. my first thought: wow, pure big elegance. This richness has a salty and acidic lemon drop balanse in mouth. An electric wine. This is after five minutes- evening will improve gem 🤩

Just could not help myself. My first Denis Mortet and yes it's worth it! Red red juicy fruit from your first smell. There are tea and herbal notes, like basil or thyme. Small notes of the cask, but already well integrated. Rustic yet beatiful hearthy. Medium acidity, small fine tannins, big mouthfeel and long leangth. Will open next one in lets say 5 years.

Some say you should never have Dunn this young. (At least decanted for 4 hours) After my first I am at least very intrigued how it will evolve. Primary fruit is red berry, Black cherry, herbal like basil, some light woodyness. Cool climate nose. Very vell integrated tannins already. Aromaes continue as wine fills mouth. It strikes me how pure elegance this is. More points if it matures some complexity. Nexth one next decade

Creamy, brioche, red apple, big mouthfeel and good size on bubbles (not to aggressive) the acidity were in hiding and I think it should get a few more years on the back.
Not an optimal glass either

Something very SA about it. Happy times field blend makes super nectare, slightly fresh grass and a tad of that smoke I connect with South Africa. Intense nose now, last bottle will await for some years to see a potensial. Medium plus length, savory juice and vibrating acidity. Big bodied, nothing not to like.

From memory, consumed in bed sunday afternoon from zalto universal. The scenario probably enhanced the drinking joy. But enjoyable this bottle is. Effortless strength with minerals as a first note. Vibrating acidity yet also a small amount of that toastyness I love about champagne. Through Fresh yellow Apples in the mix an the Balance is perfect, and the length is good. Consume now or in 7 years

Very well, this is what I like to call stupid good!! It will develope for far more years but also shows off itself already. Rich and Classy Mersault with butter, fried chicken skin, lemony and minerals, not necessary in that order. Cask shows however not overpowering. Mouthfeel sexy elegance- yes I wrote it. Ecco from the nose, fresh acidity, Lots of umami saltyness and a great length. Well done Pierre

Decanted for two hours/ Zalto bdx glasses weapon of choice. Pairing; popcorn while waiting for ramen 🤓 melted butter, lime & lemon zes, slightly earthy yet fresh. A reminder in mouth from nose experience, great acidity vs fatty mouthful. Very classy Mersault. With prices of 2020 this is really really well. Medium + length and it could have been opened Even earlier. Lay for 5 more years for me

Such eleganse. On the nose hermetic pineapple, honey melon, nutmeg, walnuts and a tad of smokeyness, not overexpressive, only pleasantly odours. The palate gives great mouthfeel with concentration, umami and a surprising acidity to keep it all up (5,8gr) full body-wine with good length and warmth. Truly a wine that will give away Even more in the next years to come. Was decanted an hour before tasting, will be heaven with sushi

Sensational qpr. If you like your acidity, it's sharp and integrated at the same time. Buttery notes together with a salinity that makes you purr. Fruit notes are citrus, lemon, freshly squeezed. This is the story on nose and palate definitly want to take one more zip of this. Consumed in the course of three days and it only got more intense, no ox.

Decanted for 1 hour which was needed. Zalto Bdxglass was the weapon of choice. Appearantly 2/3 grape material from Chambolle, but dont't be fooled. This wine has more grippy tannins than you expect from this region or from a BR. Yet they are super integrated with the fruit. The fruit on both nose and palete is quite dark, om black currant side. Medium length and a good mouth feel. Conclusion; qpr of this wine is super, it has the note and the feel of proper Burgundy pinot, somewhere between complex and fruit bomb. Fresh acidity that lifts the wine. Will buy more.

On the nose perfumed, young, open aromaes. Sunkissed black berries, strawberries, a hint of smokiness. Tones of burned out fire and the same berries in the mouth. Round, medium acidity, light and hearthy. Medium length that finishes off with a slight tobacco aftertaste. An enjoyable and hearthy wine that is one of the better easy drinkers around.

Drink from Zalto Bdx: freshly opened its a little mute on the nose, but its coming. It will never be agressive however its citrus, nectar, smoke, light anisnotes, goosberries. In the mouth its quite intense, the concentration is next level!!! Good vibration with high acidity, a fat lucious body that last for ages in your mouth. A tad of warmth from the alcohol, but not at all uneasy

Its a Darling. This is a later-note so details have gone, However this wine will age really well. You got more things happen than your berry&citrus-focused Kabinett. There is Bergamott, herbs, a viscosity and pekan nuts. The residentual sugar is very noticable on the palate, thank you for high integrated acidity. Even though I like a little r.s. I am also excited to see have this turns out after age has treated the wine a bit

Very impressive Beajolais. It has it all (except tannins). Charming red and intense fruit yet a good structure and some earthy notes to add layers to the fruit. Earthy like in gravel. I say drink it within the next years and you will have a true drinking pleasure out of this. I did. The length is long
