Checked in on this one. Way too early but I was curious how this is developing. It needed quite some time to wake up but then started already to deliver. Beautiful cedar perfumed nose with cherry and juniper. On the palate pronounced cherry, plum, forest berries, coconut, sous bois, rooibos tea, new leather and ore-like minerals. Good tension at this stage, deep and sappy but also with elegance. With good persistence and potential. Will try to hold off for some years and leave a few bottles for a long time

4/2/24, 10:25 AM - I have not had the chance to decant but left the bottle without cork for about two hours, which however did not help much. After some time in the glass and some swirling the wine openend up. I would recommend a decant at this stage if you have the chance

Very well made and promising wine. Again tightly knit and openend up in the course of the night. Opened around midday and decanted soon before dinner for about an hour. Unusually high amount of sediment which distracted some at the table and rose some suspicion about a potential fault. The wine however was immaculate in flavour, a tad mora tannic than other bottles maybe, but highly delicious nonetheless.

Golden yellow in colour. Rich and lush with dried apricots, quince, orange zest, pear, some vanilla and honeycomb. Almost slightly oxidative notes with great balance and very good drinkability. This was very delicious at almost room temperature

11/11/23, 11:30 PM - Not at all. I‘m no expert in white rhone wines but think this has softened well, showes some evolution with bold texture and has great balance. So if you like the style this is drinking well now and should do so for the next 3-5 years

Red fruit and smoke on the nose with a scent of vibrancy and freshness. After about 2 or 3 hours of air in the bottle enjoyed a beautiful pinot bouquet with no signs of age but ready to drink. On the palate you get red cherries, forest berries, sous bois, field flowers, leather and smoke. Beautifully perfumed, good depth and balance. Excellent

Nicely balanced with nutty flavours in the front, notes of caramel, blood orange and lemon with good minerality. Felt advanced, but suppose this it what 100% meunier does taste like with a couple of years of bottle age. Very delicious
