Nice light bodied balanced red leaning slightly towards a fruity flavor, yet not as fruit forward as many roses. Great red, especially with a lighter meal or summertime.

The wine looks violet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and plum. It tastes like blackberry, plum, forest floor and black pepper. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. Needed to decant first, too peppery without decanting.

Bold flavors for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Starts off fruity with hints of berries with a peppery finish. As is decants the peppery finish gets stronger & overpowers the nuance of the fruitiness.
