This is a very good wine; it has primary fruits still present, yet tertiaries are developing nicely; there is balance and complexity.

This is a good quality wine. Primary fruits and acidity are present, but the wine lacks balance and complexity to be of very good quality wine. There is an unripe tannic structure present that overwhelms.
Not suitable for bottle ageing; there is nog sufficient primary fruit to develop further.

This is a very good quality wine with lots of primary fruit and some complexity and decent length. Would require a longer finish for this to be an outstanding wine.

This is a very good quality wine, with well presented primary fruits; however the grapefruit overwhelms, leaving the wine sligthly out of balance and thus missing an outstanding mark.
Suitable for bottle ageing; with the primary fruits and acidity present, this wine is likely to develop well.

This is a very good quality wine; primary fruits are well presented and balanced and matched by sufficient acidity; the wine has a nice length. To be an outstanding wine it would need to be more complex.
Suitable for bottle ageing; there is a hint of tertiary aromas (orange marmelade) alerady developing and sufficient acidity to support further development.

This wine is of good quality, the primary fruit is balanced by sufficient acidity and there is at least some complexity brought by the apparant use of oak. However, the lack of longer finish and the limited diversity of fruit prohibits this wine from being very good.

This wine is not suitable for bottle ageing, it lacks sufficient primary fruit to develop further.

Palate: Off-dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intense.

This wine is of acceptable quality. The aromas are simple and quite limited (to lemon, peach and a hint of yoghurt). There is no complexity and a lock of counterbalance to the flavours from acidity.

The wine is not suitable for bottle ageing. It lacks primary fruit concentration and acidity to evolve positively in the bottle.

This wine is of very good quality. It’s well balanced, the fruitsare well integrated and balanced by the alcohol level. Flavours from forest floor and smoke show development giving complexity to the wine. The wine does not have the long finish expected of an outstanding wine.

The wine is suitable for bottle ageing. It has enough primary fruit, with tertiary characteristics starting to show. Further tertiary characteristics may bring even more complexity. Acidity is present.
