My first experience with this label, bought a random 6 pack to start. Slow ox’d for 6 hours. Medium body with light velvet mouth feel. First on nose was faintly like smelling a newly opened box of chocolates. Lighter berry notes which developed into dark Cherry notes as I progressed. Not overly impressed but the price I paid I find this to be a nice everyday drinker. I do recommend. Cheers

Was hoping for more, may have missed window. Then again maybe not. Day one after 8 our slow ox, nose of artichoke…more barrel notes than fruit notes on nose. Spiced leather throughout and more on the medium body side. Bit to thin for a Syrah and my liking. Day 2 showing signs of raspberry on the nose but same dullness. Happy I only had one bottle. Cheers

Wasn’t expecting much and turned into a nice find. Great structure with solid fruit. Velvet like mouth feel. Was in a nice window now but has legs so hold if you like. Definitely will buy more. Cheers

First time with this Pinot, exceeded my expectations. Solid fruit showing now, could go for more time in bottle but ready to drink now. Caramelized strawberry, cranberry spice, fantastic viscosity and mouth feel. Opened at noon and started drinking at 5, developed more after pour. Cheers!

I’m trying to like 100% California Mourvèdre….struggling. Lacks power and depth of French counterparts. I have a lot invested in some more age worthy Cali Mourvèdre. Hope they pan out….not disappointed in this and to be fair should have opened yesterday. Had with nice lamb stew, w opened and decanted 5 hours before consuming. Still at it….soft tannins after opening, caramelized watermelon, smoked raisin and a touch of artichoke amaro. Unfortunately I have one of these but think it could do with more aging. Some shithead friend recommended I open. Cheers

First bottle I had of this particular year was flawed. That was last year….this bottle on point. Smoked raisin, briny black olive and boysenberry licorice on the back end. Needs to open for at least 5 hours. Showing good structure and velvet mouth feel. Much better with food…chicken shwarma on the grill. Cheers

Surprised on its longevity. Guessing window was a year or so ago but still drinking well. Rusted violet in color, full body, medium acid, firm on the drynes. Anise, black currant and ever so slight pencil lead. Drink now...not gonna get better. Cheers

Light body. Medium acid. Raspberry and rose petal on the nose. Palate showing faint notes of strawberry. Pleasant mouth feel.

Not my first time with this one. Was going between an 89/90 on this but the more it opens up....I’m going 91. Solid Syrah maker here. They know WTF they are doing and at their pricing you can’t lose....unlike me occasionally. Thinner viscosity but dark fruit is pungent

Medium body. Light golden color. Floral honeysuckle, pineapple, butter cookie notes. Nice structure with low minerality. Needs more time in bottle. Can see change after an hour of being opened
