Tinge Brownish in color. Nice Tobacco and spice aroma on opening. Cranberry, forest floor and some cherry. There is a bitterness on the roof of my mouth that I would not expect in a PN that doesn’t seem like a usual tannin pucker. Too harsh and begs for food. Tried Mt Tam cheese (nope) and cheddar ( which made it taste like Koolaid) $20 at Costco. Not buying more.

Nutmeg, caramel and butterscotch with long finish. Normally I don’t like oaked Chardonnay’s but this was light on the oak and well rounded with other notes that make this one different from typical Napa style chards. This is one Chardonnay that I look forward to drinking!
