This wine felt weak at the price point. 2018 was a good vintage for Napa, yet the fruit and licorice aromas in this wine were very light. For me it was too sweet with not enough acidity , even after letting it decant, it didn’t improve and it actually lost some characteristics .

tones of raspberry and cherry ripe for
aging. Almond menthol tertiaries that
give the wine a great interesting
length.

Great wine, bright acidity with
a very balanced sweetness. Floral
bouquet, with of oak balsamic
raspberry and dried black fruit. Body
with similar notes and anise as well.
Bold but balanced with a great length.
