July 6, 2023 - 2010 Christian Moreau Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos (93+). Klassisk moden Les Clos. Gule frukter, fjære sjø, honning, nøtter, smør. Helt moden grand cru chablis, nydelig balanse og fylde. Deilig til grilla kveite med urtekrem.

December 30, 2022 - Friday Blind Tasting $100+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Green color with yellow hues; yogurt, nose is tight and young, flinty, sesame reduction, bright and intense, powerful structure, mineral; great stuff that needs more time.

July 20, 2021 - Nydelig chablis grand cru fra magnum som begynner å drikke bra nå. Klassisk både i lukt og smak; sjøbunn, eple, honning, integrert fat, typisk fedme og syrlighet, god lengde. 5 år+.

September 6, 2020 - This has matured gracefully. Still bright and fresh attack and becoming richer in mid palate and finish. Good length. New oak imprint is slightly more present than ideal. Not a blockbuster Les Clos, but a pleasure to drink. The Clos is located at the foot, or bottom, of Les Clos and is a Moreau family monopole.

Grand vin. 95 pts

December 19, 2019 - More like a white burgundy than Chablis. Coconut on the nose, then vanilla and sweet stone fruits. Nice minerality on the finish.

March 1, 2019 - Decanted for an hour. Could have benefited from longer.
Lovely and very interesting. Modern style with a bit of yellow exotic fruits that led the blind tasters towards Puligny and not at all thinking af Chablis. Later on the acidity gave it away. Ready now.

August 6, 2018 - White Burgs & Jack White (Oceanaire, Mpls, MN): Pale to light gold color. Drank 1+ glass over an hour. This was completely enchanting. This presented with a light, delicate profile of fine sea shells, and pretty lemon and lemon chiffon on both the nose and palate - just pristine. The palate is has a sneaking steeliness minerality to the lengthy finish. This was delicious and while drinking beautifully, I think there is more to come.
