Flight 1 (1 note)

Rosé - Sparkling
N.V. Larmandier-Bernier Champagne Premier Cru Rosé de Saignée Extra Brut France, Champagne, Champagne Premier Cru
Creamy raspberry but with some funk and a lot of tannins. Very wine-like and does not have the champagne-feel despite the bubbles.
Slightly bitter on the aftertaste and overall it lacks a bit of excitement/energy. Deg13.

White
1990 Thustrup Chevalier-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru

Caramel and coffee with a touch of glue. Salty finish wit some exotic fruit but overall not very exciting.
White
2013 Domaine Comte Abbatucci Cuvée Collection Général de la Révolution France, Corsica, Vin de France
92 points
Lots of initial lemon fruit with a touch of exotic notes at the end, lychee and peach. It feels a bit green and has a lovely and intense acidity.
Quite floral and some tannins coming through the aftertaste. Lovely and delicious wine.

Flight 4 (1 note)

Red
2004 Paolo Scavino Barolo Bric dël Fiasc Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
95 points
Lovely and intensely perfumed nose. Packed with rose petals and blueberry mixed with a huge acidity. Very intense and with some tar in the aftertaste.
Still very young and has some sweet tobacco and herbal notes to it. Lovely.

Flight 5 (2 notes)

White - Sparkling
2008 Pol Roger Champagne Vintage Brut France, Champagne
93 points
Creamy and broad sweet red apple flavors. Tastes like sweet merinque and red apples with a good structure. Lovely but clearly a "house"-champagne with a good amount of dosage.

Green apples and a harsh but fresh acidity profile. Complex and delicious but also still very young.
Grapefruit bitterness in the aftertaste. Great wine that needs time to develop.

Flight 11 (1 note)

Red - Fortified
2016 Fonseca Porto Vintage Portugal, Douro, Porto
97 points
Very young and juicy blackberry fruit. Packed with vanilla and black pepper. The fruit is dense and overpowering but still with a huge acidity.
Despite being packed with tannins, the wine is very drinkable and can be enjoyed. A huge wine with a solid potential.
